Chromium, Inc. uses a system of chromium deposition which goes on very smooth and demonstrates superior wear resistance, even against many acidic and alkaline/salt solutions. Layers thicker than 0.020" are remarkably smooth, with hardness values of 1050 H_k100g.

All chrome coatings have microcracks which provide a maximum level of corrosion protection. The microcracks in Chromium, Inc.'s process run in all directions and cross each other, to form a labyrinth-type seal which provides additional corrosion protection.

Additionally, the Chromium Inc. plating system plates three to ten times faster than conventional plating processes.
